After being sentenced to life in prison for a crime he didn't commit, Gage Weston escapes from prison. He manages to steal a car to aid in his escape, but he doesn't get very far. With the police hot on his trail, he ends up wrecking the stolen vehicle and he is once more running on foot. He prepares to hide in some bushes until the police leave, but when the lady of the house comes out to see what has happened; he sneaks into her house to wait for the coast to be clear.
When the woman comes back into the house, Gage grabs her and holds her at gunpoint. The woman doesn't show him any fear and she offers him food and a place to rest. At first Gage doesn't trust her but when he smells the scent of the food being cooked, he begins to let his guard down. However, when he realizes she has tainted the food with a drug that paralyzes him, Gage knows that he has made a big mistake. When he awakens to finds himself in full bondage, Gage begins to wonder if he has traded one prison for another.
Lady Blade has penned a terrific BDSM thriller that has it all; amazing characters, an intriguing plot, and some very erotic scenes. This reviewer found it to be a refreshing change to read about a woman who is the dominant in a BDSM story. Lady Blade does an excellent job creating a very strong and controlling woman character. The combination of the mysterious Mistress Elaina and the two sexy males made for a very hot and exciting read. The Hostage is a perfectly crafted BDSM story that will leave the reader hooked until the very end. I thought The Hostage was exceptional story and I look forward to reading more of Lady Blade's work in the future.
