Detective Finn is looking for a missing person of his own. When he hears about Cassidy, he gets the feeling that both cases are connected, a feeling that he hopes is wrong. After the mayor's niece gets taken he has no choice but to involve Talia. He only hopes he can protect her from the madman.
I thought Dark Heat was a fast paced, action-packed story. I was totally engrossed with this story from beginning to end. This reviewer thinks the way the author told the story was both amazing and brilliant. I loved the way the characters interacted. This author has a flair for writing characters that are real and loveable, and she does a terrific job with her secondary characters. I was really impressed with this author's writing style and the way she makes you feel like you were actually in her story. If I could have given this author more than five angels, I would have. She really impressed me with this story enough so that I will definitely be coming back for more.
