Sabra's parents were peaceful Daamen space traders. As a child, she witnessed their brutal murder at the hands of a space pirate, Darcus. Sabra vows to avenge the loss of her childhood and innocence, so becomes a bounty hunter. She tracks down and executes most of Darcus's pirate crew. Sabra and the bounty hunters are ambushed by Darcus, cruelly slain and left for dead. Fortunately for Sabra, her unconscious, bleeding body is found by a Daamen trader, Cam, who takes her to a healer.
While she recuperates back on Daamen, Cam begins to fall in love with Sabra. He teaches her to love and trust again. The Daamen are a protective race… Cam does not want Sabra to leave him. It is a love and acceptance she might never find again…
But Sabra's need for vengeance still has not been satisfied; she knows that she cannot rest until Darcus is dead…
Angela Verdenius had this reader hooked from the first page. The author has a very easy, fast-flowing writing style. Her character development and conflicts are flawless. I was completely drawn into this world of Pirates, Peacekeepers and Bounty Hunters. Although there are earlier book in this series, I read Soul Of A Hunter as a stand-alone novel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly Recommended Reading!Reviewed by: Naomi
