Audrey Godwin is a queen at writing romantic fiction with a twist. Having read other books by her I must say Shadow Lover is very intriguing and a must have for any romance lover. The story is filled with twists and turns leaving the reader mesmerized by the storylines. What you think is going to happen doesn't, and wanting to know the outcome leaves the reader stuck to the story like superglue. It just is that good.

Chyna Marsh loves her men, blondes, brunettes, redheads, it doesn't matter. She loves her men and in her stories she creates the world's finest of them all. When she encounters a man that looks to be out of her novels, she retreats to a small coastal town. The big city life was just too much for her. Here in this small town she meets two men. Kirk is just sexy, he's handsome, and everything a woman wants, then there is his brother. He hides in the mansion ashamed of what happened to him. Severely scarred he is the monster that hides in the dark and in the shadows. He surely cannot compete with his sexy brother. But something about him gets to Chyna. She is touched by him, wants to know more about him. He is nothing like her men in her stories but everything like the man in her dreams. What happens when she herself begins to lurk in the shadows?

Three words: Buy this book. It's a page-turner and touches the true romantic soul.
