The Flame on the Moor
Aidan MacLeod is the Countess of Ballanross. She's a strong willed woman with much compassion in her heart. Tired of the way the poor are treated she vows to help out the people who are thrown out of their homes, the poor who are treated so horridly by the rich. Sick of it all she becomes the Flame.
The Flame becomes popular quickly to the less fortunate and hated by the rich. The Flame takes from the rich and gives back to the poor.
When Ian Campbell, a judge of the higher court finds himself being robbed by the Flame he vows to find this man and hang him. Little does he know that the one he is to marry is none other than the Flame. When the two get together passions ignite but can the secrets of the Flame tear them apart? To make matters worse the Flame robs Ian, his aunt and his friend The Earl of Strathhaven. The topper is when Ian's Aunt's jewelry is stolen along with the betrothal ring.
Fiona is just such an awesome writer. The Robin Hood tale told here is exciting filled with emotions, feelings, strong beliefs and romance. It is a definite must read.
