Seduction of Colette
Claude Rousseau lost his wife years before during childbirth. After having three daughters she finally gave birth to their son, but unfortunately she passed away. Since her death he started to drink and kept drinking. Two of his daughters had married and left, but Colette was still at home. Claude loses his youngest daughter in a poker game to Lord Philippe de Valon, a very rich man. Lord Philippe informs Claude he will pick up his prize the morning after the game. Claude is angry, but a bet is a bet and he must fulfill the terms of the wager. Colette is a young girl and one that had a very hard life. She feared her father because of his drunken rages and the fact that he would enter her bed at night. She was still a virgin and he would fondle her, only confusing her more. She welcomed leaving her father's home but she feared the future.
Philippe de Valon treats her with respect. He is attracted to her from the start but keeps his distance, leaving her in the company of his aunt. Colette and her maid Brigitte are to serve his old crone aunt, Madame de Valon. While the old woman is harsh she soon becomes close with Colette. When Philippe sends word for them to go to St. Malo, they set off. Along the way they are attacked and young Colette and Brigitte are kidnapped and taught some valuable lessons on pleasure. Once they run away they find their way to St. Malo. There, Colette finds what true love is, what pleasure is and that she can be happy and experience love.
This was a super sexy story, but it did have incestuous relations and rape. Colette is a strong girl in a woman's body. The maid and Colette share a bond that will forever bind them. It's romantic in spots and a bit nerving in others but over all it's a good book to read.
