Robin Wren is in trouble. She's being stalked and it's interfering with her wrestling career. Known as Rockin' Robin on the wrestling circuit, she finally decides to hire a P.I. to help her. Robert Magnum comes to meet Robin and it's instant attraction between the two. Robert tries to contain his desire for Robin as he investigates her case, and Robin tries to be a professional and not let her bodyguard know how much she lusts after him. Their erotic encounters culminate in a hot love scene that takes place in the wrestling ring.
Though this story is short, it still provides plenty of entertainment and interesting characters. The plot involving Robin's stalker is resolved much too quickly, but that's to be expected in such a short story. Robert is a sweetie beneath his tough guy P.I. façade, and he is able to keep Robin reassured when she continues getting threatening notes from her stalker. He provides the right amount of sensitivity and safety for Robin who leads a very interesting life as a wrestler. From the opening of the story to the very last scene, Trixie Stilletto turns the heat up between Robert and Robin, creating a short but definitely satisfactory read in Body Slam.Reviewed by: Sarah
