Willow MacKenzie has come home to Esmerelda. Her mother has died and Willow returned to lay her mother to rest. Then a horrible blast from the past is back, Kenny Miller, the man J. W. accused Willow of sleeping with behind his back. Kenny wants the money that Willow's mom hid from him. Esmerelda's greatest secret is about to be revealed, and J. W. and Willow are right at the center of the storm in this emotional story. It's very short, so there's not a lot of room for a long suspenseful plot, but Adrianna Dane still manages to surprise the reader with her revelations not only about the town but about the main characters.
