Erotic Anthologies

While I, personally, am not a huge erotic reader, I wondered how best to learn about the booming industry genre. Is it really what all I've heard? Is it what the women and men blush about or is it more what they proudly proclaim their friends should read? To the mostly inexperienced…a.k.a. me, I was surprised to find that Erotic Anthologies was just the way to tempt my taste buds. Let me get me feet wet, if you will. Get to know the writers and their styles and find some truly talented authors who are skilled in world and character craft and who I look forward to learning more about as time allows.


This month I am going to share with you some of the best Fallen Angel Reviews has come across.

And Lady Makes Three a slightly different take on most Ellora's Cave ménages. In this anthology written by Nikki Soarde, Anya Bastm and Ashley Ladd the relationships between the male characters are already established (as the title suggests) and the woman comes into play after the fact.

Sweet Revenge brought to us by Midnight Show Case has a huge offering of talented authors contributing to this anthology that garnered a 5 angel review from Angel Tammy. "Intriguing, sexy, and funny" from a fellow angel drew my attention. At first I thought that there were too many authors, ( J.M. Cornwell, Marguerite Turnley, Bridghid Parkinson, Nancy Pirri, I.G. Frederick, Herbert Grosshans, Imari Jade, Marcella, Laura Bacchi, and Cynthia Rayne) I might tire of such short stories. How could they possible catch my interest, but I was mistaken. There are enough authors in this compellation so that every taste can find at least one author to their liking.


Tripping Through The Universe features some of my favorite authors Ellen Fisher, Jaide Fox, Ashley Ladd, and Shelley Munro. New Concepts Publishing brings us this anthology featuring (what I consider a strong suit) the author's trademarks in sumptuous heroes and feisty heroines. This is a fun group with hot writing.

Loose Id, LLC brings us Charming The Snake with such superstars as MaryJanice Davidson, Camille Anthony, and Melissa Schroeder. Charming The Snake garnered the 5 Angel Recommended Read from Angel Tewanda. This anthology is available in both e and print formats. All stories in this anthology are well written, humorous, and fast paced, action filled. I have the print copy on my keeper shelf.

Another 5 Angel Recommended Read Achiever Ellora's Cavemen: Legendary Tails 1 (yes, from Ellora's Cave) features Callista Arman, BJ McCall, Lynn LaFleur, Cricket Starr, Charlette Boyett-Compo, and Elizabeth Lapthorne. Angel Serena says, "I will be hand-selling this book for some time!"


This is just a little taste into some fabulous anthologies with an Erotic flavor. If you've not yet ventured here and are wondering a bit how the authors write, about the stories they tell, purchasing an anthology, I have found, is a great way to get to sample and see what you like.
