Lost Love

Ryan Williams’ job as a detective drove a wedge in his marriage. His wife, Kendall, refused to live in fear of him not coming home and left him first. Lost Love offers a dark look at the lives and losses police officers confront on a daily basis. Christy Poff introduces us to two very human characters. Ryan and Kendall love each other, but love does not always make a situation livable for two people. Their struggle is painfully shown. As they make attempts to reconcile, the reader can feel the hope of the characters that this time things will work out. The secondary characters in this work are pivotal in relation to the plot. The antagonist is particularly heartless and the trial to see him get what he deserves will have readers turning pages to see if justice is truly done. This is not a lighthearted romance meant to liven an afternoon, instead it is an edgier drama of what is lost and gained in the battle some men fight on a daily basis.
