Intelligence analyst, Ellie Sterling, loves her job within Division Six of the Special Investigations Agency. The job is challenging and rewarding; however, right now her biggest challenge is to resist the lure of Ben Darrock, Director of Division Six. Denise A. Agnew has created a convincing, passionate tale that will leave readers applauding. Whereas Over the Line is set within the Special Investigation Agency, the author has created a strong plot that can definitely be read alone. The main characters are eloquently crafted. Ms. Agnew’s portrayal of Ben and Ellie’s relationship is wonderful. Readers are treated to not only the eroticism that flares between these two strong individuals, but also the deepening emotions they have towards one another. The stalker adds tension to the plot and provides the perfect environment for Ben and Ellie to recognize their true feelings, and readers will be delighted at how they act upon their emotions. I truly enjoyed the manner in which the author combined trust with passion. The scenes between Ben and Ellie are hot, and made even hotter by the implicit trust Ellie displays in letting Ben show her passion like she has never felt. The passion, intrigue and emotion combine to create a distinctive romance, Over the Line is not to be missed.
