Just One Look

Lauren Rose is a fashion designer from Malibu, visiting with her sister and her sister’s husband in New York. Victor Raven is a successfully ruthless businessman, and the divorced father of six year old Rachael.

Lauren was attending a cocktail party when she saw Victor. Just that one look between them set both of their bodies on full alert. Neither Victor nor Lauren wanted a permanent relationship due to past experiences, so plain old hot sex was just fine with them.

Returning to Malibu, Lauren discovered the company she worked for had been sold. During the last few weeks of her employment with that company, her clothing designs were shown publicly and were a great success. She accepted a job in her hometown in New York and found a fantastic new apartment.

Lauren found herself falling for Victor and his precious daughter, fantasizing about having a child of Victors of her own. Victor discovered Lauren was quickly stealing his heart, but would she want him in her life when she discovered his many secrets.

We discover that love between soul mates can happen with Just One Look. The passion between Lauren and Victor was so great that it conquered any doubts, fears, and secrets in their lives. I also found Rachael’s character to be one of the most significant parts of any relationship and that is the importance of children in our lives. This story would not have been complete without her.
