Witch Island

Roxanne didn't know what was going on, but she was going to find out. It had started as a job but now it had turned into something else and that scared her. Aidan Nevan was hiding something. She'd come to his island home to teach him how to use computers, not to be stranded in the middle of nowhere without phone service and now he's telling her it may be a couple of days before she could head back to the mainland and home. What made it worse for her was that she's falling for him, a client, and this was business. Roxanne soon found that she couldn't think of him as a client anymore. He showed her a side of herself that she wants to keep exploring.

Aidan needed Roxanne's help. He needed answers and he's running out of time. He's read all the books, tried all the spells but nothing has helped him in all these years. With her help, maybe he'll find the answer before it's too late. He knew if he'd told Roxanne the truth, she'd never have come to the island. Now it looks like he's put her life in danger and he can't let that happen; he has to get her off the island if he can. Aidan didn't want her to see what happened to him but she'd seen anyway, now he'd have to tell her the truth and lose her forever. He'd have to tell about Morganica, the spell she'd cast and why she'd done it.

This story takes a couple of chapters to get into, but after that it's a page turner. It's a story about revenge, love, loyalty and fighting for what the characters want most of all. This reader was able to not only feel Aidan's anguish and guilt but the love he comes to feel for Roxanne and her love for him. The actions that Morganica takes make for a suspenseful and breathe holding scene. If you want to read a book that will hold you in it's grip until the conclusion, then this is the book for you, I highly recommend it. 5 Angels
