Jane and the Sneaky Dom

Jane Denning is a successful career woman who has built her own business and is happy with her life. Well, mostly happy. She has enough money, she has good friends ... what she doesn’t have is a guy in her life. It’s not that she doesn’t try. But the guys she’s going out with are, in a word, boring! As Jane and Lacey are planning their campaign to find this take-charge man, Ian MacInnes, former military man and security consultant, overhears them. When he learns that Jane and Lacey are going to be at the Blue Note blues club that night, he decides that he will be there too. Jane is going to meet the Dom of her dreams if he has anything to say about it!

I really enjoyed this book. The writing is smooth and literate, as well as being very descriptive and funny. I was drawn into the story from the very first paragraph, and couldn’t put the book down. The characters of Jane and Ian react as if they were real people, with energy and humor. The emotional appeal of the writing is deeply moving, and makes the reader really feel the attraction growing between them. The secondary characters are just as fun. In fact, I hope that the author decides to write a book for Lacey sometime in the future.

Another wonderful aspect of this book is the erotica – the sex scenes are abundant and very explicit, but the author also understands that sex can be funny if you do it right. The hero and heroine couple with arousing abandon -- they have good time doing it and are not ashamed nor afraid to laugh. The man/woman sex includes light bondage and spanking. I know this book will delight you as it did me, and recommend it highly.
