“Wicked” Women 101

“Wicked” Women 101 by Susanna Carr is a three-story anthology. Each story adds its own flair to the title “Wicked” Women.

Six Weeks To Sensuality:
Dr. Marc Javier’s number one goal is to claim Amy Bryce as his own, but when he goes to act on his intentions, both are interrupted by the image of her ex carrying flowers up to his “new” fiancée. Deciding now was not the moment to tell her, Marc shies away from his intentions. However it is not long after Amy comes in search of him. She wants him to allow her to be in his “Sensuality Project” so she can learn how to be sensual before her ex’s engagement party. Marc automatically assumes she wants her ex back, but Amy’s wants to prove she can be unbelievably sexy to the world and to Marc.

Code Pink:
Jennifer Clark loved her job working in cryptanalysis. Playing with making and breaking codes was her life and she was good at it. She even liked to think she was the best, but when she sends a note to who could be a new boyfriend, non other than her ex boyfriend, Bryan Matthews, shows up with the her encrypted code. The note was obviously not meant for him, but Bryan is in love with Jennifer and wants her back, so he decides to entice her into a game. She has to create three codes each one revealing a location she will be at, and if he breaks them in time he might just get what he wants from her.

Fantasies Are Forever:
Caroline Mitchell has been having some very explicit dreams about her co-worker Joe Hatcher. Although Joe flirts with her and has told her in no uncertain terms that he would enjoy one night alone with her, she is still afraid to get close to him because he might discover her secret. She has an inner geek and every time she is around him it comes out. After discussing this dream with the “Dream Circle”, she decides that the only way to get him out of her mind is to have one night with him. But will one night be enough?

Susanna Carr has brought her fans another winner. “Wicked” Women 101 is a delightful, humorous and very enjoyable read. Each of these stories is believable because they could and probably do happen on a daily basis. The characters were all very refreshing and genuine. The “Dream Circle” in Fantasies Are Forever is just too cute! Who wouldn’t want to be a part of a group such as this. Another wonderful aspect of this story was Caroline and her inner geek. Ms. Carr surely knows how to write a truly believable story with authentic characters.

In Code Pink watching the sparks fly between Jennifer and Bryan made the whole story a success right from the first chapter. Their competitive nature added a bit of spice to the tale, and the codes are fun to try and break.Six Weeks To Sensuality was a very funny and quirky story. Watching Marc and Amy both pretend to not have any feelings was quite amusing when after all he was teaching her to be sensual. Her final exam was one we all want to take.

“Wicked” Women 101 will be one of next year’s must haves! Brava truly knows what a gem it has in author Susanna Carr. If you are looking for a lighthearted, witty and down to earth book you won’t want to miss this one.
