Bitter Change

Lothos is a solitary wolf in search of his mate, or amouratesh. Tittering on the edge of losing himself to the beast inside, he has left his pack because he knows how dangerous he is. He doesn’t expect the dirty urchin of a woman who stumbles into his camp, wounded and obviously beaten. Unsure what to make of Ethenia Deveux, Lothos’ protective instincts and libido rise to the fore at the thought of her being hurt further. Promising to help Ethenia find safe harbor, he doesn’t even realize that the very woman he was looking for is right under his nose.

Ethenia is on the run from the abusive and sadistic alpha of her pack. She has barely escaped with her life, and is scared, with nowhere to go. Lothos has been her savior, and even though the attraction between them is strong, she knows there can’t be anything more between them since she isn’t his mate. The more her life begins to intertwine with his, the more her feelings grow. Nevertheless, Ethenia’s alpha isn’t done with her, and he has found a way to harness the power of black magic to bring her and her new love to their knees.

Caught in a maelstrom of passion and terror, Lothos discovers who Ethenia really is, but with death and a mad man around every corner. It may just be too late.

Bitter Change is a fast-paced novel that draws you in. There are a lot of characters, and the reader is given a glimpse into their lives. At times, all of these secondary characters intrude on the relationship between Lothos and Ethenia, but with copious amounts of heat and passion flowing around this story, Bitter Change will be sure to make you reach for something battery operated.
