Operation Spacequest, Episode 1

Julie was living her dream – she was being paid to design and play video games. The new game she has designed should bring her fame and fortune. Julie also hopes that her game will attract her boss, Dorian’s, attentions. She has spent four years wanting Dorian, doing everything she could think of to get his attention. While playing the game, Julie is zapped into the game. She must find a way out.

Dorian is very intrigued by the new game Julie has designed. He is even more intrigued by Julie. Dorian has spent the last four years wanting Julie; he just did not believe that she was interested in him. Her game will bring fortune to the company. Finding that the game’s hero was modeled after him is a surprise. It also makes him think that Julie is attracted to him. Deciding to test the game out, he takes it home. As the game begins he finds himself actually inside the game. He does not know how to get out.

Operation Spacequest, Episode 1 is the beginning of an interesting series. Julie and Dorian are an exceptional couple. They desire each other but are afraid to extend themselves. Being trapped in the game forces them to reveal their feelings and to work together. I especially liked that the heroine was able to take care of herself. The author has a wonderful writing style allowing the characters to really come alive. This is the great start to what should be a wonderful series. I look forward to Episode 2.
