Gwyneth Mac Killan and Cormac O'Keefe loved each other very much and wanted to become husband and wife, but Gwyneth's stepbrother was a real jerk and wanted anything Cormac wanted. Most importantly he wanted Cormac dead so he could take over the O'Keefe stronghold and all the immortal powers that go with it. As Cormac was being sent over the cliff to the sea to die, Gwyneth cast a spell that he would be safe at sea. That is just where he stayed; every year on the same day Gwyneth said the same spell to bring him back. However, when Gwyneth repeated the spell this year while sitting in her bathtub; the apartment shook, the water overflowed and Cormac appeared in the flesh. Cormac was in her bath and was alive and out for revenge against Torin, Gwyneth's stepbrother. Torin was an evil man who wanted power any way he could get it. Torin is an immortal that is not above using any evil means to gain more power.
This reviewer loved the magic that brought this story alive and the plot had you on the edge of your seat throughout this magical book. Gwyneth and Cormac's love transcends all time and no matter what they face, they face it together. It is apparent from the remarkable characters and imagery filled plot that Ms.DuBarry took great care while writing this book. You will enjoy Gwyneth and Cormac's trials to be together as eternal lovers as they fight all that stands in the way of their true love. This reviewer gives this book a five angel rating for eternal love as well as a great read.
