The Road to Rapture is about a young woman named Mara Manning who is looking for her knight in shinning armor. She has been through a lot of relationships that have not gone anywhere, or fulfilled Mara’s need for love and commitment. Mara is seeing Josh now and goes to see him and finds him in bed with another woman. Mara rushes out in tears, jumps into her car and drives along an unfamiliar highway. A storm means she is unable to see very far ahead. Mara is low on gas, but there is nothing on this highway, but then she notices a motel and a gas pump. So she stops and parks her car, and as she sits and waits the storm gets worse. Mara decides that she will have to stay at the hotel. Mara runs to the door marked “office” and opens the door then shuts it, as she turns around she sees a man and he takes her breath away. It is the knight of her dreams…
