The Twelve Quickies of Christmas – Book 12: Christmas Angel
For a single woman in the Foreign Service, Nicole had always been mindful of her position. Nicole would never endanger her career for empty sex. Sex had always been unfulfilling for her anyway, so going without wasn’t much of a hardship. She had her mind set for an ambassadorship position when the time came, so she worked very hard and stayed on the straight and narrow. Her life was going according to plan until she met Alessandro.
Nicole had been at a Christmas party being given by the Italian Embassy. She was ready to call it a night when Alessandro had spoken to her. What followed was seven days of the most incredible sex of her life. Nicole had been so consumed by what they were doing between the sheets, that she didn’t realize at first that she had fallen in love with him. He left her the day before Christmas promising to return that evening with his belongings, he was moving in with her. When Alessandro hadn’t returned by the following evening, she was frantic. At first she imagined the worst; anything could happen to a foreign diplomat. Nicole’s heart shattered when she received a telephone call from the Ambassador himself, telling her there had never been an Alessandro at the Italian Embassy and even if there had been, to leave it alone.
One year later, Nicole is at another Christmas party, when again she heard his voice. At the shock of seeing him again, Nicole fainted. Alessandro knows he’ll have to talk fast in order for Nicole to forgive him. He never intended to be away from her for so long. He could only hope that she would listen to him, give him the chance to explain and accept the man that he had become.
Christmas Angel may be a short story but it still packs quite a punch! This was a great story of two people discovering each other with some amazing sex along the way. Lisa Marie Rice excels at bringing forth the minute details that makes her story realistic and fun.
