Vampires At Heart

Much More Than Blood:

Rosa is a selfish, spoiled vampiress and she’s bored. ‘Immaculates’, vampires by birth and ‘Hybrids’, vampires made from a bite, both bore Rosa. She has toyed with both over the years and now she wants something new and exciting; she wants sex, hot sex and she wants it now. To solve her problem, Rosa decides to create herself the perfect hybrid.

Alik is a man living on borrowed time. He would like nothing more than spending what time he has left burying his thoughts and troubles, in a liaison with Rosa. Three days is all the time they have together; three days for Rosa to decide if Alik can hold her interest long enough to warrant changing him; three days for Alik to live out every man’s fantasy.

Neither expected or wanted to fall in love.

Prey For Me:

Prey has just lost the woman he has spent the last several decades with. Devastation is not a strong enough emotion for what Prey is feeling; desperation and grief fill his heart. Prey settles Rose’s affairs and then descends into the darkness waiting for him.

Jess is a burned out cop, forced to take a leave of absence. Jess has just learned that her Aunt Rose died and she has inherited her house. Her first thought is to sell the old house, but the longer she’s actually in it the more she loves it. She never expected a half dead vampire in the basement, or the four vampires that would come looking for him, with old business and a family feud between them.

Prey doesn’t want to exist but now he’s forced into protecting Jess. Jess calls to him in a way he thought he’d never feel again. Jess wants Prey. She can’t explain it, she doesn’t like it but the fact remains that she wants him. If blood, sex and heat are what Prey needs to become stronger, she’s more than willing to provide all three.

Both authors bring about a mesmerizing tale of love, lust and danger. The combination of both stories in one book makes for a very good read. Ms. Hill and Ms. Rose complement each other’s writing. Each story can stand-alone and be just as good, but together they pack a powerful, sensual punch!
