Unable to focus on anything besides the two hunky werewolves, she retreats to a secluded cabin. Starr hoped that the much-needed respite would enable her to clear her mind of the erotic visions and she would once again be able to concentrate on her work.

Lucien and Sorin had contemplated for weeks on how to entice Starr to their bed. The vacation provided the perfect opportunity for seduction. When she walked into the cabin and found them awaiting her in bed, she was unable to resist the temptation any longer. After a passionate night with the two men, she is stunned when they ask her to perform the Moon Mating Ceremony, which would unite the three of them forever. She is heartbroken that she must refuse them. As much as she loves them, by law she cannot have a mate. Lucien and Sorin however, are determined to change her mind. They knew that they were destined to be together.

When Starr has another vision, she is confused by the fact that her gifts have not been reduced, but in reality, have grown stronger. Her certainty that the Protectors are in grave danger sends them on a fast-paced return to the castle to save the lives of their King and Queen. Dangers are lurking in the woods, between them and their destination. Can they stay alive long enough to protect Queen Anca and King Demi from the enemies that seek to destroy them?

This is the third installment in the wonderfully imaginative world that began with Blood Oath. It helps to have read the first two before you can fully understand the events in this new story. The action flows rapidly and the sex is once again hot. However, if you have any qualms about male on male intimacy you must be warned before reading this book. Ms. Tunstall is a wonderful writer and the story is one that will keep you enthralled from page one. This reviewer was swept away by the love the characters had for one another. The author did a fabulous job of creating their bond together so that it did not seem sordid. Fans of Kit Tunstall’s Blood Line series will not be disappointed.
