Persephone was once again out of a job. As an Office management consultant, she is entirely too good at what she does. After a month, Mr. Marshall informs her that she has organized his business so well; she is no longer needed. On top of that, it is her birthday.

Persephone was lonely. Being a temporary worker does not allow her to stay long enough in a job to build any friendships. Being very cautious by nature and average in looks makes it even more difficult. Her only friend in the world is a feline named Pat who has a strange lace lingerie fetish. He had wandered into her kitchen window a year ago and has kept her company ever since. As she lights a single candle on a stale cupcake and tearfully sings happy birthday, she makes a wish. She wishes for fantastic sex with fabulous lovers (lots of them), and a good paying permanent job. She blows out the candle and smoke begins to swirl around her face. She begins to feel unusually sleepy and lays her head down on the table. As Pat looks on, his mistress disappears.

She awakens to find herself in a new and strange world. A world filled with fairies, gnomes, elves, and goblins. She was adjusting well to the fact that sex was readily available and that she was growing wings. Then she met Thorne Leatherfly. If Harley Davidson designed fairies instead of choppers, he would be the poster boy, she thought. Then to her horror she realizes that Thorne was her lingerie loving Pat. He was the scout sent to see if she would be a good recruit for Fairyland. Her birthday wish had come true.

Thorne would be her wingmate for life... maybe. First, they would have to make the Nuptial Flight required by Fairy law. So, off she goes to flight school for fairies. Will Persephone be able to get off the ground in time for the Nuptials, or will she be sent back home to her dreary life without any memories of Fairyland and Thorne?

If this reviewer had to describe this book in three words, they would be hot, hilarious, and hot!!! When you are not laughing at the witty repartee, your glasses will steam from the sizzling sex. Sahara Kelley has such a wonderful imagination and gift for bring the characters to life. This is one of those books you cannot put down until the last page, and then only to take a cold shower. There was not one forgettable character in the entire book. Sahara Kelley is definitely on this reviewer’s must read list from now on.
