Ms. Taylor provides, as one of Ellora’s Cave’s 12 Quickies of Christmas, a spicy tale incorporating the "Partridge in a Pear Tree" theme. Destiny Doherty comes home to find a present from her sister Fate. Man, is it ever a present!
Brian Walsh is just what Destiny needs to chase away her annual Christmas blues: tall, dark, and oh-so-scrumptious. The little red briefs, instead of a bow, only serve to, um, emphasize his suitability. Brian extracts a promise from Destiny that she will be with him, in his arms, for the next 24 hours straight before giving into her heated demands for the passion he promised her when she opened her present. Destiny readily agrees.
Ms. Taylor gives the reader a great introductory taste to her writing. The sex scenes are rarely short of electrifying, and the story leaves you wanting to know more about Brian and Destiny.
Ms. Taylor will be continuing the story of the Doherty sisters with Tempting Fate, due out soon from Ellora’s Cave. Continued reading of this author is highly recommended!
