He Said, She Said

The Grinch is back! Well in a modern way when it comes to Jason Radcliff, a man who in Michelle's opinion is the most egotistical, money-hungry man ever in her life. Now that there's a new company wanting to buy Centennial where she works, she's desperate to save the company she has come to love. Not only does she have to save the company but a man is giving her more attention than she deserves. Answering the phone was the biggest mistake she could have done, going out to lunch with Jason Radcliff was the next biggest one. Now that she's felt the sexual attraction between them, she can't resist this man, no matter how hard she tries. As hard as she avoids him her son, David, has one wish for this Christmas. To have a new daddy as a Christmas present. How is she supposed to grant this wish to a little six-year old boy so full of wishes that are impossible to come true. Or is it?

Jason Radcliff, president of Radcliff Enterprises, is a hard-worker and a father to a six-year old, who is persistent in getting a little brother. With money, he's able to buy anything, anyone and any place with a snap of his fingers, but this wish takes the cake. Bumping into Michelle Collins at the mall was like a light going coming in his life. To him she is like a breath of fresh air in his dark, working life. The only thing is that she's the secretary to the same company he wants to buy and lay off the employees. To her, he is the next Grinch and all he wants is just to make love to her. Not only does Jason have to figure out how to buy the company, make a little-boys wish come true by Christmas, but also keep Michelle in his life all in two weeks before getting the company. Can he do it? Can Michelle fall for him even though he's rich?

He Said, She Said perfect title for such story that has everything from love, comedy, sexual attraction and most of all a family coming together. The newest from Rosanne Boettiger is one that this reader will cherish mostly because of the way the author brings these two characters together. Two different people so opposite from one another. He's into money, and she doesn't want anything that is associated with money. In her opinion in order to have money, you have to work hard not have it placed to you easily. To him, he thinks she is being a coward in trusting him and giving him a chance to make a relationship grow. Not only are Michelle and Jason great for one another but also the little boys, their children, are so easily to understand and cheer for them to get their wishes come true. As most romances it is often hard to involve a romance with children in it, but Ms. Boettiger outshines in this terrific story by including two people so right for each that with a little help from their children can make a family grow. Definitely, will recommend to fellow readers this enchanting story.
