Nobody's Angel
Computer chats, do they really help the single men and women out there? That is what Dirk Reynard is trying to figure out on himself. As a cowboy, you would think he would have no time to surf the chat rooms or go out on a date with a stranger. However, to him six months chatting with the woman should be sufficient time to really know her. His goal is to find a woman and marry her with the help of a Pentium PC and computer lingo. What he never suspected was that his woman would be far from knowing the computer lingo.
Kristabelle Lewis thought going to the mall would be fun, sort of last minute shopping as she plans to travel through the state. What she never imagined or thought of was getting a date from a complete stranger at the mall. As a person on the verge of touring the 50 states, she didn't have time to be swept off her feet by Dirk. Alas, all things change when that little organ, called the heart, interferes and sees a potential mate for her. As an independent woman, she is determined to do what she wants and not follow her mother's steps in marrying and settling down. As they date, Krista soon realizes that she is not the person he has been chatting with for the past six months. The only thing is though this relationship is based on false identities she can't help but fall in love with this computer-geek-farm-rancher any more than he. Can a relationship based on lies and no trust work for Krista and Dirk? On the other hand, will it end with heartbreak like so many computer-chat dates?
Nobody's Angel by Sylvie Kaye is to this reviewer not only a great story to read but definitely hits home to this computer-geek searching for love. Krista is a woman who is searching for her big break, to travel all over the U.S. and not let anything interfere in her plans. Dirk is your modern man who is tired of waiting for THE ONE. Feeling insecure because of his brother's good looks and charisma he sought the Internet and search for his cyber woman. Talk about computer stories and the possibility of love, Ms. Kaye really brings out the imagination and creativity in this romance. As people go, the computer lingo such as BRB (be right back) can be tough for someone who doesn't know it. Krista takes it in stride and this reviewer liked that she didn't panic or break out in sweat. Ms. Kaye has created a romance of new love, comedy and most of all one man's determination to find the right woman.
