Maureen Molinaro, a woman who has known pain and heartbreak is about to find out that the place she came to for safety and protection is not what she really needs. Instead, she’s finding out that Troy Donoghue is whom she craves, needs and wants very much. Growing up with a father who is a Superintendent at a school and always having to act acting proper and ladylike, it comes easily to succumb to Troy’s ways of pleasure and sin. Well the most delectable sin you can imagine with a man such as he. As a child, she always came to Rehobooth Beach as a summer place and sought its gentle waves and peaceful atmosphere instead of a child having fun with friends. To her this was the ideal place for her to hide, but soon learns that another person, a child is also hiding for her safety. Can a woman help a little girl confront her secret? Can a man find the woman of his dreams? Most of all, can a woman as Maureen learn to trust in someone and be loved the way she was meant to be?

Wild Blue by Mrs. Evelyn Starr is one romance worth reading with a straight smile through the end. The characters, such as Maureen and Troy, are realistic fom the beginning to the ending. It’s hard not to like them because each character has a generous trait to them. Maureen is looking for a place to hide out, to run away from a secret that not only pains her but also making her not trust people. Troy knows there’s something behind Maureen’s past but is patient with her. From the start, you can see the sparks flying between these two characters. Lyla, the little girl who has come to mean so much in this story, is like a young Maureen. All the characters in Wild Blue are very descriptive and heartwarming that it wasn’t hard to fall in love with Troy and Maureen even little Lyla. Definitely, this reader recommends Ms. Starr's books and her future books. One author who knows how to touch a reader’s heart with touching characters and sexual chemistry that never falters throughout the book.
