Phillipe LaFaire was brought to Urdhel by the Settlers Council as a schoolmaster to the women of the village. He was to instruct his students, wives and mothers, in hopes of helping them understand more of world events outside of their village. The village has been protected for many years by the Dukes and Kings of the land but Phillipe, being a scholar and intensely interested in ancient occult manuscripts, found the rites of this pagan village a veritable fountain of information.

Instructing the women was a distraction he’d not encountered in his previous posts teaching the sons of noblemen. The women were beautiful but only one captured his attention. Tatiane, with her gorgeous mane of red hair and fair face, was his nemesis and quickly found himself falling under her spell. He made a vital mistake in spurning Tatiane’s advances one afternoon, wanting to court her in the manner in which he was accustomed. He refrained from showing her his true feelings, which devastated Tatiane and left her vulnerable to an attack from an ancient enemy. Phillipe must use all his acquired knowledge and trust the ancient scrolls to guide Tatiane safely back to his side.

This tale is spun with magical prose that will leave you gasping at its beauty. The story will pull you into the lives of the villagers and the secret they must keep. The author created a well-written sensual tale of danger, mystery, and the strength of true love. This reviewer highly recommends this book and look forward to reading more stories by Ms. Erotique.
