THE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST by K.G. McAbee
Erick’s father has been gambling again. Only this time the stakes are much higher. He finds out his father has promised HIM to Lady Arianne for paying off his debts. Erick loves his father, and though he is angry, agrees to go to Lady Arianne. But Lady Arianne’s home is filled with dark secrets. Will he be safe? Can he trust Lady Arianne? Or is there truly a beast lurking in the depths of the castle?

This was an excellent story, told in first person from Erick’s point of view. There are mysteries here and the story is compelling to the very end.

THE GIRL IN THE BOX by Janet Miller
Ganth and Amirilla have been talking to each other for nearly a year, when Ganth decides he wants to meet his “Ami” face to face. This is something Ami cannot let happen. She secretly loves Ganth but because she is crippled, would not allow him to love her. How could he love a girl in a box? Ganth is determined to win Ami’s love, as he could love no other. Will this couple be able to overcome Amirilla’s fears? Will Ganth’s love prove strong enough to face all the physical and mental challenges loving Ami would hold? You’ll have to read it to find out.

Janet Miller pulls you into this heartwarming tale that teaches us that love is not only about physical beauty but about two souls that are meant to be together. The story is sweet and Ms. Miller throws us a few curves to keep us on the edge of our seats until the very end.

KNIGHT MOVES by C. B. Scott
Jane has been infatuated with Kenrick Bonel, her favorite actor, for years. While watching one of his movies in a darkened theater, she is knocked unconscious by a thief. She is astounded when she wakes up “in” the movie she was just watching. She is forced to help Kenrick on his journey to rescue his love and ends up taking a journey of her own.

Jane is a strong character and learns to trust herself on her journey, and Kenrick is everything a true knight should be. This story is written with flowing descriptions and the emotions of the characters with have you cheering with them to the very end.

KALLAAYT’S TALE by Rosemary Laurey
Kallaayt, a dragon shifter, has left his love, Gwen, with a promise to return for her. Gwen knows Kallaayt only as the trader Kall. Will Gwen keep her promise to him to wait for his return? Will she choose to go with him when he shows his true self to her?

Rosemary Laurey has created a fantastical world of dragons and magic. Kallaayt is truly a hero worthy of Gwen’s heart. This story will tug at your heartstrings, and have you pulling for them until the very end.

INTERFACE by Isabo Kelly
Gina is in trouble. Her protective father has hired security guards to keep her safe from a radical group that is picking off the members of her research team, one by one. But who will keep her heart safe from Alex? Will he be able to protect her? Who is behind the accidents and death threats to her research team?

Interface is an action packed, high tech, sci-fi that will leave have you holding your breath until the last page. Gina and Alex are extremely well developed characters and you will love Gina’s spunk. An excellent tale of intrigue and love.

THROUGH THE WOODS by Ellen Edgar
Beth Hawthorne can’t imagine falling in love again. Especially not with a man who is eaten up with grief and guild. But can a little heavenly help pull them both together?

Grab a box of Kleenex before you read this story. You’ll need it. Through the Woods, is an emotional tale of two lost souls who find out together that even through trauma, love prevails. This was an extremely touching story.

SMOKE AND MIRRORS by Donna MacMeans
Amber Wilson wanted to be thin. Maybe then she’d feel better about herself. A shopping trip to an old antique shop leads her to an amber necklace. When she gets home and looks at herself in the mirror, she makes a wish...to be thin. After a miraculous transformation she meets Todd. But what does he really see when he looks at her?

Smoke and Mirrors is a story we can all relate to. Amber’s desperate desire to be something she’s not teaches us a lesson. It’s hard to see inside ourselves to our true beauty. Todd teaches Amber that beauty is “truly” in the eyes of the beholder. The rest is just smoke in the mirror.

TO CALL THE MOONS by Linnea Sinclair
Torin must kill her before the next time the moons rise. He is Chalith and he had answered her call to Master Rowan. But what is it that she needs? He will know her answer before his blade falls, for once she realizes who and what he is, she can not live to tell the tale.

What a wonderful story that hooks you and pulls you in with the first sentence. Torrin and the gutter thief will capture your heart immediately. Yet just remember things are not always what they seem. This is an intriguing tale that leaves on waiting for more.

LADY OF MARAGORN by J.C. Wilder
There lives a she-elf in the woods of Leavendor, and it is said that she can bestow paradise upon mortal men with only a kiss. Yet Nia is cursed. Until the kiss of her true love, every man her lips touch turns into a stone gargoyle. After two hundred years, she has given up on finding her true love and has decided to end the curse herself. Yet, will Ranulf be able to stop her?

J.C. Wilder doesn’t disappoint in this magical tale of love and intrigue. Nia is a strong character and her determination is to be admired. Both characters pulled me in immediately and carried me away to their world. This is a powerful story not to be missed.
