Wanted: One Perfect Man
Zara is on a special mission, with many lives depending on her success, she comes to a small Texas town and gets a job as a waitress at the local diner. While, the men in town are immediately half in love with the beautiful young woman, she is immune to all the attention. Her mission only involves one man, and she has a limited amount of time to find him. She figures with her job at the local gossip mill she will eventually run into him. Daniel Murphy isn't the man she is searching for but, there is something about him that draws her.
Daniel Murphy is on the run with his 8 year old son, Will. Will’s mother died before Daniel could claim him, and her parents refused to let Daniel see his son. So, Daniel took Will, bought new identities, and created a quiet life for them in the small Texas town. Daniel is always looking over his shoulder, but when he first lays eyes on the new waitress, he is irresistibly drawn to her.
Judi McCoy has written another superb book. Amazingly imaginative and original is the only way to describe Wanted: One Perfect Man. Her characters are believable and loveable. While Zara is looking for an encounter with a specific male, Daniel is taken by surprise at his attraction for her. What isn't to like? Zara is a perfect female specimen, but what secret is she hiding? Will it keep these two who have this amazing attraction for each other apart? Having secrets of his own, Daniel can easily tell that Zara definitely has a secret she is hiding. Her secret is startling and the last thing Daniel or anyone in this little town would expect. To find out what it is you will just have to buy the book! The plot is very creative and unlike anything this reviewer has ever read. Reading this book is a delightful way to spend an afternoon. Ms. McCoy has a true gift.
