Jakarta and Teague arrive at the Castle Phantasie for a couple days of together time before Christmas. The beauty of the Castle mesmerizes Jakarta and sets the mood for their stay. The romantic setting puts Teague into a mood and again he brings out a ring to propose to Jakarta. The problem is Jakarta had a horrible marriage to Darien and cannot let it go. She is untrusting and finds it hard to say yes. A marriage that will bind her, restrict her and made her property of someone was the last thing she wanted. So she denied Teague once again the happiness he yearned for.

Hurt and disappointed he sucked it in and decided to go to plan B. A single Christmas present is given to Jakarta, a present that changes her thinking and makes her see Teague for what he really is, a man deeply in love with her.

I enjoyed the emotions in this quickie. The story between Teague and Jakarta is more than just sex. The reader gets to actually feel what they are feeling and to see that trust can be earned in many different ways.
