Thirst for Love
Imagine a night out with friends, just a girl’s night out. A young girl spies a handsome man and knows he has been watching her. Leaving with her friends, she goes to a bookstore where she meets him and instantly they connect. After some truly horrid relationships with different men from her past, she longs for the right one. Tarantin is just what every woman wants he is sexy, charming and sweeps her off her feet. They plan a trip to his home off the coast there is where she finds out the truth about her white knight. Tarantin is actually a dark knight, a vampire and with out her permission he makes her one of his kind.
At first she is upset, angry; hurt he would take her without asking. She flees from him back to her safe world but there is a bond between the two she cannot escape. After a failed attempt, she returns to him to learn more of his life and the vampire ways.
As she grows and learns Tarantin decides it is time to meet more of their kind. After an eventful evening she meets Jonathan. Tarantin had problems with Jonathan in the past and he wants revenge on Tarantin’s woman. Together, Tarantin and his woman will have to over come a near death, torture, fear and rejections if they want to be bound together for eternity.
This reader really enjoyed this story. It was told in first person by the heroine. In the story, she tells about her relationship with Tarantin, her emotions and the whole saga of becoming a vampire. The descriptions are precise and filled with detail. Their relationship is erotic with out erotica in the story line. She has a deep love for him but she also wants more and once he finds out what that more is her walls come down and she is free to openly be with him. It was a page-turner and not just another vampire story. It had heart and this reader really liked Ms. Ritchardson’s work.
