Unexpected: Linc finds an alien. Initially she is only 15 inches tall and purple color but she changes into a beautiful full size woman. Can an alien and an earthling find happiness together?

Happy Birthday, Baby is comprised of four short stories. All the stories have one thing in common – the characters have sizzling hot relationships. The sexual action is what readers have come to expect from an Ellora’s Cave book and this one is no different. The men and women are attractive and the sexual tension is pervasive throughout the stories. If the reviewer had to pick a favorite out of the bunch, it would be Unexpected. This reviewer enjoyed Chandra’s innocence since there is no “sex” as we know it in her world. Linc was a supportive friend and lover. The reviewer enjoyed their interaction as he tried to explain sex as well as other things to her.

It is difficult for an author to accomplish character development given the nature of short stories but Ms. LeFleur achieves this with ease. The reader, is instantly pulled to the stories yet feels a connection to the leading characters. All the stories were interesting and entertaining to read. This is the first book the reviewer has read from this author and it won’t be the last.
