Maggie Moore is a retired prize-winning war journalist currently working for a newspaper and now covering the sports section. Ken Dryden is a pro-football player getting his life back on track after an injury and for a personal crisis. They meet when Ken tries out for the Gladiators and Maggie has to cover the story.

Years before she had been in love with Ken, but after college they went on to make their dreams happen separately. Old wounds are reopened and each one must get through their past to claim the love they once had.

This book was a very good short read. Even short though it wasn’t long, the story was still loaded with great sexual tension and some personal strife. This reviewer found this book to be very articulate and well written. Ms. Stilleto did a wonderful job creating a good romance to a short read. She had some wonderful erotic scenes between the characters that the reader could feel. This reviewer enjoyed the story even though it was short but would have been better if it were a little bit longer. The fact that the story is so short should not put you off, because it is worth reading. She is definitely an author of great talents.
