The Redemption
Ariel, the Seer, of the Atlantean people has stayed behind to find Coridan an outcast of their race and return with him through the transport hidden in the jungle. She believes it is her duty to her people to bring Coridan back to Zaron, their mother planet and protect them all from the evil professor. In attempting to accomplish her duty she is captured by the professor and she telepathically calls Coridan to come to her aide. Her plan is to allow the professor to torture her until Coridan comes back and then they will flee together through the transport. Unfortunately, for two nights she is teased with erotic dreams and feelings that she cannot explain, only one explanation fits. She is in heat, Atlantean heat. Ariel is confused because as a Seer she is not supposed to feel Atlantean heat because it is how their people bond and mate. However, a Seer is not allowed this aspect of their culture because of her duties.
Coridan fleeing the scene of his humiliation and banishment finds his senses teased by an elusive call and scent. Unsure of what it is or where it is coming from he turns back, the way he came, to find it. He had been sure he was the last of his race because he knew the others were scheduled to leave this planet in order to return to Zaron. For two nights he finds escape in erotic dreams of coupling with a woman who teases his senses but he does not see her face in these dreams. He was banished from his people because he challenged an esteemed warrior and teacher of his people for a woman he thought was his mate. All he has ever wanted was to find his mate, could she be her? When he realizes it is the Seer, Coridan does not care; he believes he has found his mate and his dream.
Both have an agenda: Ariel to return to Zaron with Coridan, and Coridan to make Ariel his mate. But will the professor allow any of this to come to fruition or will he discover the secrets of the transport and the Atlantean people? Can Coridan convince Ariel being his mate is worth any sacrifice? Or will Ariel choose the path of Seer? You will have to buy the book to find out.
This reviewer absolutely enjoyed this wonderful continuation of Jordan Summer’s Atlantean series. Once this reviewer started reading there was no way to put it down until the end had been reached. It was most definitely worth the time spent in an uncomfortable chair in front of the computer late in the night. Ms. Summer’s has crafted a sequel that rivals the previous installments of the Atlantean’s series. The heat between Ariel and Coridan burn your eyes and your imagination. This story has spicy drama and is loaded with sexual tension. The loves scenes are erotic and heated but also tender and sensual. Not only does she have this intense attraction between the hero and heroine but Ms. Jordan has also created a tale of adventure that pulls the reader deep into the plot of it. For those readers that thrive on the paranormal, this tale is a must purchase that you will never regret. It is most definitely a cozy keeper that you will pull out when the pickings are slim for new books.
