Jenny and Rob set the sheets on fire in the pages of Country Pleasures by Rosemary Laurey. Their love scenes are hot and erotic and they set sparks off each other whenever they are in the same room. The strength of Country Pleasures lies in the phenomenal love scenes and the overall plot line. However, the characters in Country Pleasures didn’t strike any connection with me, which I had hoped. The love scenes are hot enough to set fire to anyone and anything, but for me, a more meaningful and touching relationship between Rob and Jenny would have enhanced the reading experience. Jenny and Rob lacked communication and a realism for me.

I have read many of Ms. Laurey’s published stories in the past, but this one did not strike as strong a chord in me as her previous works, but I look forward to her future releases.
