Murder Online

Widow, Claire Jenson has moved on with her life delicately and one day at a time since her husband died unexpectedly. It hasn’t been easy with her two daughters, Lannie and True, but they have moved on with their lives. But their world once again crashes when True is found brutally murdered in her apartment. Claire doesn’t understand why her family is being torn apart by death, and soon focuses on catching her daughter’s killer…

Sergeant Detective Martin Slade is in charge of True Jenson’s murder investigation. Marty will work day and night to find the killer and in his many years on the force, he has never seen a case quite like this. Marty finds himself feeling a lot towards Claire Jenson and the investigation quickly becomes personal. True may have been murdered in Chicago, but all leads take Marty and the investigation to her hometown in Lansberry. The investigation takes a turn towards the Internet as well, when a note on CD is found from True and she tells what she has been up to since moving to Chicago…

Was it possible that a faceless person on the Net learned too much about True and ended her life? How far will Claire go to catch the killer? Some of the best suspense I have ever read can be found in the pages of Beth Anderson’s, Murder Online. From a mother’s pain of losing her child, to murder investigation’s ups and downs, to danger and fear, there are a lot of questions asked and it is edge of your seat suspense and drama right to the very end. Murder Online is fast-paced, captivating and chilling. The Internet is portrayed with realism and honesty. For a tool that millions of people around the world have come to depend on and enjoy, Ms. Anderson shows how brutal it can very well be to those unaware. All the characters in Murder Online are fascinating and keep us on our toes. We travel with Marty and the murder investigation from Chicago to Lansberry to L.A. and are constantly left guessing. Being a mystery/suspense fan, I hope Beth Anderson has more tales such as this for her readers. She is a new author for me, I sadly admit, but one I will be looking to read more of from here on in. Murder Online is exciting, suspenseful, realistic, and flawless. A thriller not to be missed!
