Brenna Lyons holds a reader transfixed with book one of the Prophecy Volumes: Revelations. This is a stunning work of art, which will have old fans of Ms. Lyons rejoicing her newest book and have new readers joining the ranks as fans because this book is splendid from start to finish. The mystery surrounding the Prophecy is deliciously frustrating, suspenseful and keeps the reader completely hooked. The characters are phenomenal, not just Kyla and Joe but the secondary ones such as Gram, Jason, Kyla’s little sister Molly and Joe’s buddy Eric. All the characters are memorable and integral to Kyla and Joe, not only keeping them safe, but also adding a family quality to the story. Revelations is deemed sufficiently as a paranormal story, yet it fits in so many more genres across the art of fiction. Other genre’s like romance, suspense/action and adventure and even simple mainstream could describe this tale.

This is a tale that could please many readers who read any kind of genre. I find that Revelations is above any other work that Brenna Lyons has ever done before. Her writing talent and creativity shine bright with this tale and even sets the stage masterfully for the sequel. Revelations ends in the center of the most crucial moment of Joe and Kyla’s lives. While being left hanging is enough to tear one’s hair out, the break is needed making the Prophecy even more climatic and the experience even more energizing. Prophecy 1: Revelations deserves more than five Angels for its perfection, Brenna Lyon’s talent and the overall captivation of the story. I can’t recommend this book enough!
