Rob Alexander was flying a plane that was not going to make it very far and he was out in the middle of the ocean. As the engine sputtered and coughed, Alex saw an island. Maybe it had some people on it he thought. As he tried to get to the island, the plane began to sputter and then the engine died. As Alex began to crash, he noticed that the island was uninhabited by anyone. Alex thought at least he would die as he had lived; he would go down in flames.
The sisters would get in a lot of trouble if their Dad found out that they were not in the kingdom as they should have been. But on this nice day they were out flying their Dragons and had noticed the big metal Dragon that had crashed to the island. As the girls flew over to the Dragon they saw a man inside of the Dragon's belly, so they decided to get him out. But when they took a look at him, they thought why not keep him.
This reviewer found this book to be a great laugh as well as a great fantasy that kept me reading and held my attention throughout. The characters had body as well and the plot was so good that Ms.Ladd has held up to her reputation as a writer of some great books. This reviewer gives this book a five angel rating for a great fantasy read that will have you smiling from beginning to end.
