The Cattleman
Once upon they were playmates, their families were the richest in the lands. They grew up together, were friends then puberty sets in and they couldn't stand each other. They fought and argued. The two had issues but anyone could see the truth, Julie Bradley and Jim Morgan wanted one another in the worse possible way.
Her father dies leaving her the most valuable part of the land. She has total control now of the water rights for both ranches. Growing up, her brother's often teased her about marrying Jim, which only added to the fuel she used to burn her anger against him. She leaves and nine years later returns a woman. The growing desire between the two can not be controlled and she finds herself in his arms, bed and in his heart but its not enough to keep her there and she leaves him only to return a year later for her sister's engagement party. They are destined to be together and when Julie tries to leave yet again, she finds it harder to leave. Can she finally admit her true feelings and give herself to the man who has always been there? He is a man that always had her heart, even before she knew it.
These two characters are so much in love and yet so blind. Julie fights it so hard but she cannot get Jim out of her heart. The passion is just riveting between the two and you find yourself urging them to get together to break down the walls. Their relationship is so real and so enticing. It's necessary read.
