Quin Lasiter is a retired FBI agent. Ariana Chambers is a Craft Practitioner, or more simply a witch. These two meet when a bomb goes off. Ariana saves Quin with her magic. Her family is originally from Scotland and are descendants of druids. They are a powerful family. She has had dreams of a man since she was 10 years old. In her dreams, the man she helps ends up killing her. Quin is the man of her dreams. Unbeknownst to her, Quin has also been experiencing similar dreams, but in his they are both killed. Into this mix, there is a murder to be solved.

Ariana and Quin fit together nicely. These two people have been in search of something and they have found it in each other. Quin is very much the typical hero, plus he has a sixth sense about things. Ariana is strong, loyal and in tune with herself. She knows what she is and accepts it. Of course, with her family history - it makes it easier for her to accept her powers. The question that haunts Ariana is in her dreams. Is the man she loves destined to kill her? All these questions are answered by the end of the book. The author has written a fascinating tale with enough twists and turns to satisfy most mystery lovers. She has also added touches of the paranormal to the story.

The author has also introduced us to many secondary characters. They all contribute to propelling this story forward. The villain is downright nasty and the reviewer didn't guess who it was until more than half way through the book. Then we wanted to see how this person would be caught. The author's description of Ariana's family was intriguing and we hope the author will continue with their stories, especially Kaitlyn's.
