The reviewer did not read the first book of this series but knows that this second one was a rollicking adventure then the first was probably an adventure also. It has everything you could want in a book: suspense, mystery, romance, humor, paranormal happenings and a lot of hot sex! Max is one of the most interesting female heroines the reviewer has come across. She is smart, tough and psychic. She is also speaking and having sex with her dead husband, Cameron. His spirit appears whenever she needs him. Cameron is trying to get her to move on, but Max is stubborn and she will go at her own pace. Witt is waiting in the wings. He knows he wants her, she knows he wants her - so what will or may happen between them pulls the reader further into this story and series. It goes without saying the erotic tension and situations are red hot.
Although the relationships of the three main characters caught the reviewer's attention, there is a mystery to be solved and the author does it with flair and style. If you like books that are a bit quirky or even if you don't, this reviewer thinks you won't be sorry for picking this one up. The author has written a book that this reviewer can highly recommend to all.
