He mesmerizes Lisa, but she wants to return to care for her ill mother. She hates the land that is infested with war. He is so resistant to her, so hidden. She soon will tear down his walls, but he must keep his word for his word was all he had. Well except for the beautiful woman who was breaking down walls and capturing his heart.
Karen Marie Moning is brilliant. Her Scottish warrior stories are page-turners. I guarantee you cannot put these books down once you start reading. They are addicting. Circenn is another beefy hunk with an attitude but Lisa can handle him and does. Their passion ignites and all hell breaks loose. These two are red-hot lovers. Excellent, most excellent. A must read.
