The Highlander's Touch

Circenn was the laird of Castle Brodie, when his flask comes up missing he vows to kill the recipient of the flask. What he didn't plan on was her being so beautiful and from the 21st century. Lisa lived with her mother that was dying from cancer. Her life was near non-existent and then she is ripped from the world and thrown seven hundred years back in time. She finds herself dealing with Circenn, not aware of his plans for her.

Circenn is torn between his word, his oath, and this woman that seems to know nothing of the truth of the flask. Can he kill this woman that touches him as none other has? He mesmerizes Lisa, but she wants to return to care for her ill mother. She hates the land that is infested with war. He is so resistant to her, so hidden. She soon will tear down his walls, but he must keep his word for his word was all he had. Well except for the beautiful woman who was breaking down walls and capturing his heart.

Karen Marie Moning is brilliant. Her Scottish warrior stories are page-turners. I guarantee you cannot put these books down once you start reading. They are addicting. Circenn is another beefy hunk with an attitude but Lisa can handle him and does. Their passion ignites and all hell breaks loose. These two are red-hot lovers. Excellent, most excellent. A must read.
