The Nerd Prince
Cade Ryan is a world class nerd. Angry and dejected by a failed marriage, Cade hides in his new apartment entertaining himself by playing video games. If his pesky neighbors weren't so loud, Cade would be able to enjoy the games he was attempting to play. The noise from his neighbor's bedroom was bad enough, but the person upstairs who persisted in playing her cello all day long had to stop. He turns up his stereo to block out the annoying squawk of her instrument.
Shell Anderson is a professional cellist. She has a concert next week and needs to practice as much as she can. When the new guy downstairs cranks up his stereo, she finds it impossible to play. Frustrated and annoyed, Shell decides to go down and tell him to turn the music off.
When Cade answers the door, Shell finds herself face to face with a major geek. Thick glasses, and shaggy hair, Cade is definitely not her idea of a Prince Charming. When Shell rejects his invitation to dinner, she feels a little guilty. She has always been attracted to handsome men, but most of the men she dates are total jerks. Realizing she should give Cade a chance, she invites him to dinner.
During their date, Shell is surprised at the unexpected chemistry between them. She does not understand how she can be attracted to someone who is not her type. Shell has to decide if she can put aside her habit of judging a man by his looks and give Cade a chance. She soon finds that there is more to Cade then meets the eye.
The Prince Nerd is a very romantic story. It is a classic tale of the frog that turns into a prince with some very sexy scenes mixed in. Short but sweet, I found this book to be a very enjoyable read.
