A misdirected e-mail for someone named Blade sends Annie Blaszak to Key West to pursue her first case as a private investigator. She learns that the mysterious email she receives involves her brother, Jacob. He is being investigated by the FBI after a top-secret software program he developed for the Government has been stolen. Annie is determined to find this person called Blade so she can prove her brother's innocence. Apprehensive about the important task ahead of her; Annie befriends Ramona, her seat companion during the flight.
Rafferty Sinclair realizes that his plan as going undercover as "Ramona" is hopeless after his bra strap breaks and his falsies began to drop. When the female FBI agent who was assigned to this case comes down with the flu, Rafferty is ordered to dress up and assume the role. His job is to find the connection between Annie and the mysterious Blade. However, he soon learns that his first task is to conceal the instant attraction he develops for his main suspect.
Web Story is a romantic comedy packed full of adventure and mystery. Karen Troxel writes a deceptive tale with fascinating characters and hilarious situations that will have you laughing out loud with every turn of the page. The intriguing story line and amusing characters made for a very enjoyable and entertaining read.
