Ali is looking through her grandmother's things. They will all be auctioned off to pay the back taxes and the medical bills. While perusing at the cheval mirror, Ali finds herself drawn into another world. It looks and feels like a dream to her. She looks different and she is picked up by Rabbit. Ali and Rabbit begin their travels together. What adventures await them?
This was an entertaining variation of Alice Through the Looking Glass. The author has put her own spin on the story and it works! From Ali and Rabbit to the Mad Hatter --- all the characters come alive at the author's hand. There is definite sexual tension flowing between Ali and Rabbit. It was unusual to think of Rabbit as a man but the author has made him a very virile young man! This was a very short story (approx. 28 pages) and the reader wishes it had been longer.
