The Nerd Prince

Cade Ryan is stuck in an apartment with thin walls. His upstairs neighbor is playing awful music and it is driving him crazy. He decides to play his stereo louder. Shell Anderson is playing her cello. She is a professional musician and she needs to practice. The noise/music drives Shell crazy, so she decides to complain about the noise and heads downstairs. Cade invites her out but she turns him down. She changes her mind when he rescues her purse from a purse-snatcher. Shell has been unlucky with men; maybe her luck will change with Cade.

The Nerd Prince was a thoroughly enjoyable read. It is a fairly short book but filled with memorable characters and sizzling erotic action. Cade is a great hero, not the usual Alpha chest-thumping male but a "nice" guy. Shell is a perfect complement to him; she gives him what he needs: friendship and love. These two light up the pages and the story comes alive for the reader. The author pulls the reader into the story and provides a satisfying ending to the book. This was the reviewer's first exposure to Ms. Fisher's work and we hope it won't be the last.
