A Romance story that is true to fill you with every emotion available. A mother wanting her son to know who he was named after recalls upon her past to allow him to truly know whom this wonderful man was.
Aenna was nothing but a poor country barmaid. She was working when she over heard threats cast upon the Prince. Making it her duty to inform him she sets off to find him and along the way, she finds herself and the love of a lifetime. But so many things get in the way and tear this lonely peasant away from a life she dreams of. The Prince and Aenna are doomed from the start, too much is forsaken and too much is at risk. His mother's hatred for Aenna only adds to the long list of reasons they cannot be.
This is one of the best Historical romances I have read. Ms Chapman just captures the reader's emotions and lures them in this story. The emotions run high and you cannot help but find yourself speechless with the out come. This story tells the reader of one woman's sorrow, sadness, happiness, love, and heartbreak all in one book. It was awesome. That is all I can say to explain this page-turner. It was AWESOME and definitely a must read for anyone with romance in your heart.
