Threshold

Mara's quest was to enter the Gates of Hell in search of a lost relic. An Angel, sent to the infernal regions, did not stand a chance against the likes of Belial, the second oldest of the fallen angels. A master of seduction, it was he who controlled the carnal instincts of mankind. She was given into his power by Lucifer himself, with the instructions to train her in the art of being a submissive mistress. Mara finds herself unable to control her desires when faced with so great a temptation as the erotic, blond demon.

Belial does not understand the fuss about the petite newcomer. He has heard of her seductive powers from the inferior demons. Therefore, he was put in charge of her instruction into the erotic arts. He has been around long enough not to let a wisp of a girl entrance him to the point of negligence in his duties. He could not see how one so shy and timid could have kept the lower regions in such chaos, that he was needed. Belial was positive that he would be seeing no trouble from the young beauty. However, he was wrong.

Threshold is a dark, sinfully seductive story. That is the only way to describe this book. Davina Blayde takes her readers on a journey that feels so forbidden and erotic that you will most definitely need a cold shower afterwards. Belial is the essence of temptation. A strong presence, he is an enticing figure that will astound you. Ms. Blayde's creative image of Hell is a unique perspective on a place that we have been taught is terrifying. While she keeps it quite horrific, she adds aspects that make it more interesting then the brimstone and fire viewpoint. Threshold was a captivating story that is perfect to read when you are feeling a bit naughty. This reviewer eagerly awaits the second installment.
